Give the gift of knowledge this Christmas
This year for Christmas you can provide schools in remote areas of Afar, Ethiopia with essentials such as internet, electricity, feminine hygiene products, school supplies and more.
We know it is important to our amazing supporters to know exactly where their donations are going, with this fundraiser you can gift a specific item for a specific amount of time. To choose which item to donate please click Donate Today below.

Donate Essentials

1
School Supplies
These schools are lacking basic school supplies, such as paper, note books, pencils and chalk. Help us provide these schools with these supplies. We only need to raise $133.33 per school to cover their costs for a whole year.
2
Feminine Hygiene Products
Girls in these remote areas do not have access to or can not afford feminine hygiene products causing them to drop out of school. Help us provide reusable pads and underwear to give them a chance at a brighter future.
3
After School Program Staffing
68% of students in remote areas of Ethiopia are failing the standardized tests. This is not due to their ability but due to the lack of teachers and the huge teacher to student ratio. Help us staff our Gender club and ICT Program and help us keep these kids in school!
Donate access to knowledge

4
Internet
Internet access makes an immeasurable difference educating students. This access means they can tap into knowledge and teaching materials that otherwise would not exist.
5
ICT Program
With the only teaching materials being a handful of books children are lagging behind in their education. Help us supply computers and printers and educate teachers and students on how to use them to unlock unlimited knowledge.
6
Solar Energy
There is limited electricity in many of these remote areas, help us set up and service a solar powered charging hub for remote communities
7
Electricity
Without electricity our ICT Program can not run, this program is vital as it allow students and teacher to access information that would otherwise be unreachable for them.
